U16 League
Ferry travelled to Creeves last Sunday evening in the last game of the league at least that's what Creeves thought. A draw would be sufficient for Creeves to win the league and as they had already beaten Ferry this season they were hot favourites. Mike Griffin and his team had other ideas scoring three great goals. Ger O'Sullivan rising high to head home a corner , Denis Gallager to use his speed and break through the Creeves defence and Paddy McDermott to break the offside trap and slot home.
But have Ferry won the Battle and lost the War. A unfortunate incident at the end of the game saw Conor Flavin get sent off. He will be a major loss for the play-off.
