Senior league
The start to 2013 is not good, an injury time goal for Athea gave them a valuable win. Ferry found themselves behind after halftime but kept battling and eventually got a free kick outside the box. David Langan stepped up and drove home a pile driver of a shot to the net. Ferry pressed hard but could not convert. Then disaster struck when Athea scored in injury time.
It will be hard work now to get back on track, but knowing this group of lads they will be ready for the raod ahead.
Still 2nd in the league, Hogan Cup Semifinalist , with league Cup and Desmond Cup yet to come.
