A beautifull sunny morning in Ferry Park was the venue for the 2nd league game. Both Ferry and Mountcollins having won their games, this was going to a good encounter.
Ferry started brightly putting some good moves together and running at Mountcollins. The first goal came early in the game, and it was for Ferry. This came about when Cian Enright Barry recieved a brilliant through ball between the centre back and full back, and with his pace and accuracy put a great ball accross the box which ended up in the net.
Mountcollins soon equalised as a result of a free kick. The free kick was taken from outside the left hand side of the box, Ferry defence headed down but only for the Mountcollins striker to drive home to score.
In the second half both teams had chances to win, Ferry struck the cross bar from Cathal Brosnan.
But Mountcollins will be wondering how they didn't score, when their midfielder struck a brilliant shot and somehow Patrick Carmody in goal for Ferry had a terrific double save.
On the day a draw was a fair result for both teams.
